TIME AND FEEL MENTORSHIP
The Pocket Method
You know the shapes.
You still don't lock in.
Most players think their time is the problem. Sometimes it is. Sometimes it's something underneath — and the free call is where we find out which.

Who it's for
Intermediate guitar players (played 1+ years) who can play songs and chords, but feel stuck. Your groove isn't consistent, your playing doesn't lock in the way you want it to, and you're not sure what's actually causing it.
You want to play funk/blues/R&B (or your own setlist) with band-level feel and confidence.
You can practice between sessions.
The result
Better time, feel and groove in the music you actually play — so you can hold your part confidently in a band setting and sound like you belong there.
Here's the thing most players get wrong
The thing underneath is usually one of these — neck knowledge, right-hand rhythm, subdivision, how you're actually hearing the beat.
The free assessment call is where we figure out which one it is for you. Then we build the 6 weeks around fixing that specifically.
What you get
- 6 weeks of private coaching
- 1 x 60-minute private call per week
- Customized plan built around your level and updated as you progress
- Material sent before each call so you show up ready and the call is about fixing, not explaining
- One clear practice assignment after every call so you improve between sessions, not just during them
- Band context support: how to lock with drums and bass, how to practice for rehearsals, and how to show up prepared as an adult playing with other musicians
- 5 spots per month so it stays hands-on and personal
No risk
If after two calls you don't think this is for you, I'll refund you in full, no questions.
Not a fit if
- You've played less than a year.
- You can't practice between calls. Progress happens in your practice time, not just on the calls.
How to start
Free 30-Minute Time + Feel Assessment Call
Book a free 30-minute call first. No payment, no commitment.
On the call:
- I'll listen to you play something short.
- I'll identify your #1 issue (and it might not be what you think it is).
- I'll give you one drill to start immediately.
- If we're a good fit, I'll often extend the call and start helping right there.
- If it's a match, we'll map your first 2 weeks and set your start date.
Equipment
No fancy gear needed. Phone or laptop is fine. Guitar in hand. Amp is optional.
I work with students in different timezones. We'll find a slot that works for both of us on the free call.
FAQ
- Am I good enough?
- If you've played 1+ years and can play songs and chords, you're likely a great fit. The free call will confirm it.
- Is this a pre-recorded course?
- No. This is private weekly coaching built specifically around you. No two students follow the same path.
- What if my schedule is tight?
- One 60-minute call per week, plus 20 minutes a day on your own, most days. Time and feel is a nervous-system thing — short and daily beats one long session on Sunday. If that doesn't fit the next six weeks, it's better to start later than to start badly.
- What if my problem isn't time and feel directly?
- That's exactly why the free call exists. Sometimes the thing blocking your groove is something underneath — and fixing that is still the job.
